Family Practice

The Walkerton FHO works with the Brockton and Area Family Health Team (BAFHT) to provide health care for around 10,000 patients. Eight of our Physicians work out of the Walkerton Medical Clinic, two work out of the Mildmay Clinic and one has a private clinic off-site. This partnership provides patients with access to primary care, chronic disease care, kinesiology, mental health support, smoking cessation, natal support, nutrition support, and respiratory health. The Health Care Workers at the clinic include a team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Chiropodist, Foot Care Specialist, Dietitian, Social Workers/ System Navigators, Kinesiologists, Respiratory Therapist, and Nurse Educators.
